Living Threaded: A Studio of Becoming
Living Threaded is deeply informed by my PGCE in Art & Design at UCL and my placement at Shooters Hill Sixth Form College. The project builds on my teaching practice, aligning with curriculum aims while offering students a space to explore care, identity, and co-authorship through mural and textile work. It acts as both a creative inquiry and an educational enrichment, bridging studio experimentation with classroom collaboration.

Who it is for
Rooted in Peckham’s layered histories, this studio responds to the disconnection between local creative labour and institutional visibility. It’s a space for youth-led authorship, care, and co-creation—where memory is stitched, rhythm is honoured, and visibility is reclaimed.
Murals - Mavis Best Community and Celebration
Mavis Best led the Scrap Sus campaign, fighting racist policing in South London. Her activism was rooted in care, resistance, and community. This tab honours her legacy and reflects my own commitment to visibility and youth empowerment.
