Living Threaded: A Studio of Becoming

Living Threaded is deeply informed by my PGCE in Art & Design at UCL and my placement at Shooters Hill Sixth Form College. The project builds on my teaching practice, aligning with curriculum aims while offering students a space to explore care, identity, and co-authorship through mural and textile work. It acts as both a creative inquiry and an educational enrichment, bridging studio experimentation with classroom collaboration.

Site Layout

Rooted in Peckham’s layered histories, this studio responds to the disconnection between local creative labour and institutional visibility. It’s a space for youth-led authorship, care, and co-creation—where memory is stitched, rhythm is honoured, and visibility is reclaimed.
